I have to re-evaluate my own personal goals and expectations. Some things just never will happen. I still have a quite a few that aren't realistic and they do cause me grief.

At some point in life, you have to realize there is nothing more you can do. Thats when you die. Until then, things are possible but there must be some spirit, hope and desire. Of course you got the spirit and desire or there wouldn't be so much despair. I feel like you're lacking hope, and if so, it's a hard quality to recover with all the stressors. And what works for one person probably wouldn't for another.

My love for fishing took years to develope. Much of it was spent no real interest other than the fact that my relatives did it and I love to be around them. When they did go, I often got distracted by something else and didn't even pay any attention to what was going on. But I do remember a spring in the early seventies when I got up early one morning and decided to throw a wooden lure called a gilmore jumper across the shallows of Dardenelle lake. What happened completely surprised and amazed me. A bass, 3 something pounds, exploded the top of the water to take that lure. I might have been 9/10 years old but the feelings were strong. My Grandfather shot polaroids and I was hooked!

I guess what I'm driving at here is that we all need something to loose ourselves in. It may be something that won't take as long as fishing did for me but there is a niche out there for everyone.

I've said this before, but when I worked for ups, they had 5 things a person must live by to have a happy life.

Spirituality
Family
Job
Theirselves
Hobby

I think they put job before yourself intentionally. I figure I come before my work. But for some reason, my hobby seems much like my spirituality.

Rambling on again
