I think you really bullseyed that one, it amazes me how much time and energy goes into the "what ifs". I wish there was some easy answer to just stop doing that, I believe we would all be happier people, but there is no easy answer and I believe it is a painful process and a difficult one to change that thinking pattern.
I tend to go from one crisis to another and in the middle of it all, latching onto things that I think will make me "happy" to help make it through and then sure enough, later on down the road, the "what ifs" come in.
I've been told more than once to accept each day as a blessing and be open to hope and possibility, I hope I can find that again and soon.
I feel like I'm truly one of life's gypsies searching for peace and happiness, but then again, I guess all of us here are gypsies. Maybe we'd been better off forming our own traveling circus. I could have been a clown. I like the thought of a imaginative identity. :) Sandy could run the arts and crafts. I could see you as Madam gypsy with the crystal ball, beads, and the cigarettes and pepsi underneath the counter. :)
Sorry, just some stab at some much needed humor with everyone being down lately.
thanks for sharing your insight,
love and peace,
Bill
