We all feel that way. Sometimes more than other times, but we have all experienced that overwhelming feeling of needing to end the frustration, pain and absolute exhaustion of fighting.... But it is the depression, not you...don't ever forget that it is a disease and one of the biggest symptoms are the irrational thoughts we have.

Winter, Christmas is a very tough time for alot of people. This is the one time of year when we have to be very strong and realize that the depression will lessen and will come to an end...soon.

Are you on meds. I am on Effexor 150mg twice a day. A high dosage...but the only thing that keeps me holding on. That and I am in a wonderful relationship.

But even with a loving family, great man and meds...I still take a nose dive into depression...and when I do, I run to this site...to try to remember that I am not alone in this struggle and that there are people that know exactly how I am feeling. That I don't ever have to feel like I am going crazy..which is what I thought 8 years ago, before I was diagnosed.

Though I hate to see any new names here, as that means there are more of us with this condition...I am also thankful that Sandy has created such a safe haven for us to escape to. Please keep coming back here, there are good people here. If you ever need to talk one on one, please feel free to email me.

Hugs

Rhonda
