Subject: Going to the beach

Just for the day but that's ok. Scott, Bill and I plan to leave in the morning. It's a little over two hours to Edisto Beach and we'll spend the day there and then come home. Bill's never seen the ocean. That should be fun, seeing his reaction to it.

I've been wanting to go for a long time. This beach is real quiet..not commercialized at all. Only one motel...mostly rental houses. They say you can find lots of shells and sand dollars there. Hopefully some shark teeth too.

I had a wave of depression hit me on the way home from work. Before that I felt fine. I know what caused it though. I don't think I slept more than an hour at a time last night and I'm just exhausted. That always makes me feel bad. I think I'll turn in now..a good night sleep and some sea air tomorrow ought to do the trick...not to mention another four day weekend. After the holidays it will be time to put my nose to the grind, but for now I plan to enjoy the time off.
