Hi Solie...long time no 'see'. I was on Wellbutrin SR back in July 2000. I don't remember a lot of side-effects on it, other than I had 'energizer bunny syndrome'. My first full day on it was the day after a tornado hit near here, and I went to help at the local call centre for disaster relief. I had woken up at 8 that morning, went to 'work' at the disaster relief place at 7 that night, and they had to physically force me to take a hotel room at 2am. I didn't fall asleep until nearly 5am, and woke up at 7am, ready to go. That side effect settled down within a few days' time, thank goodness.

For me the medication didn't lift my mood, unfortunately. That doesn't mean it doesn't work for others. I hope your son has success with it. Take care...
