Is there any way you could become a little under the weather, so they could go do whatever for the week and you wouldn't necessarily have to deal with them? I think I'd be tempted to try something like that.

Hold on to your resolve...the 16 year old nephew is not your problem. You have enough on your plate as it is, working and taking care of a toddler, plus the other stuff you're dealing with. He's his parent's responsiblilty, not yours. I think I'd start heaping the guilt right back on them for even suggesting someone else bail them out of their responsibilities when they start in on you. That's ridiculous. I can't imagine expecting someone else to raise my child, can you? What's wrong with them?

You're doing the right thing...and not just for you. Danny deserves your attention and having a troubled 16 year old around would take away from that.

Keep your chin up. One more week...we're pulling for you. If all else fails, come up with an illness. I'm serious.
If I could I'd come and breathe on you...I've been sick for real all weekend. Fever, sore throat...the works. But I wouldn't want you to get this :)
