Subject: Somebody just shoot me...

That's what the do on Westerns to horses with broken legs, don't they? Well my leg isn't broken but this has got to be the sickest I've been in a long, long time. This is the 8th day of this mess. Fever's gone but now my sinuses feel like someone started a fire in them, and I'm coughing and in general feeling rotten. I hope Scotty and Matty don't get get this.

I've been so worried about work. I don't know why I feel guilty for being sick. I put so much pressure on myself. Tuesday I worked all day with a fever. Wednesday I worked half a day with a fever. Yesterday I just couldn't go. I felt weak. I called and left a voicemail for Jack, the assistant district manager, telling him what was going on and that I'd try to work today or work longer hours next week. He left a voicemail back telling me that if I didn't feel like working today...don't. He said it would be different if it was just the sniffles or something but he said I sound awful and not to worry about it...that they weren't slave drivers. Wow...it's so nice to have good bosses. I put enough pressure on myself...it's great to know that they won't be that way.

Well, I've been trying to sleep this morning. Scott drove Matt to school, since he's off today. He'll probably have to go back and get him too. I'm going back to bed. Made myself some chicken soup...Scott's gone to rent movies...Another weekend that I feel like hell, but this is going to go away sometime. Must be getting old..don't bounce back like I used to ;)

Talking about movies...Walmart always has some for $6.44 so I bought one called "Last of the Dogmen". Siskel & Ebert had given it two thumbs up. It was excellent. I loved that movie.

Talk to you later...off to bed.

Love,
Sandy
