Subject: Tragedy brings out the best in people sometimes...

Never would have guessed I would have an opportunity like this, but it's worked out that way. With me moving at the end of August and traveling light, it's come into question what to do with the house furnishings, everyone says store, keep, u-haul, etc.
I have started from scratch before and am a firm believer in this life that anything beyond health,
a roof above one's head, and close relationships with family or friends is not even gravy, it doesn't mean much in the end, I can scrounge rummage sales and get furniture when needed and I'd be just as happy.
I'm not afraid to start over, so today I was thinking how do I handle this and then Judy walks up to the desk, upset because of her daughter's lost everything in the apt. explosion (e-mailed some of you the news story). It was at that moment I had my answer.
I told Judy I'd make her a list of everything I have and next week to bring able bodies and her pick up truck and she can have what she wants to help her daughter rebuild her home life.
Some shake their head at me, let 'em shake, this is something I never thought I would be able to do for someone else and if I wound up sitting on the floor somewhere down the line, it'd be worth it to help someone out this way. We may find ourselves one day suddenly losing everything.
I really see my path forming here to what's meant to be.
Thank you for listening,
Peace
Bill
