Subject: OPINIONS PLEASE...ON A WEIRD SITUATION

Most of you know that I was a superintendent for several years...actually 10 years...

Well, before I quit, there was a man in town, that wanted to work for me. I thought twice about it...because he is not the nicest person in the world...and the women in the office did not want him in the same office.

Well, after I quit..and just left...I left a young man in charge and really didn't care what happened to the department after I left. Well, it went to shit and I would guess through alot of wrangling and pestering...this man, I did not want working for me....got the job.

Anyway...he had a history of bad temper...strange family life and he makes women feel..icky (for lack of a better term...he is just ewwww) anyway...today, I got a COPY of a letter "praising" him..for a great and wonderful job. Now, I have not worked there for over a year...I don't know, nor care what is happeing there....and then I get this letter and I think it is from this guy....

Because if it were from anyone else, I would have gotten some sort of explanation. How he would find out where I work, weirds me out a bit. I mean...I didn't question his work ethic or his inability to do a good job...I was in doubt of his ablility to get along with other people. Right now, that department is non existent and this guy works all alone...so there would be no conflict there.

What I need to know...would this "weird" anyone else out. Does this guy have a chip on his shoulder...why wasn't there a note of explanation attached to it. AND, I am sure, he is working his butt off to do a good job, to prove me wrong....but he doesn't realize...that that was never the issue...I just didn't like him...he was icky. It has just left me feeling...."stalked" you know????

Anyway, if you can, let me know what you think, am I over reacting...I mean, I won't respond to it, the letter is in the garbage..I just wanted to know what you would think.
