To the people who say you're only thinking of yourself...well...if you don't think about yourself, who will? I mean, it would be different if you had kids, etc keeping you there, but you don't. Kansas is a short plane ride away. I found out a long time ago...and still finding out, that you can't please everyone and that's life.

I've been putting what I thought was best for Matt first for so long and not what was best for me, Scott or our marriage. Now Matt's at an age where I truly believe that what's best for him is the same as what's best for Scott and me...being together, being a family and having a "normal" life...making a home together...getting some sort of "routine". Funny, that's a word I used to hate but now I really long for routine. Life's been up in the air too long and I'm tired. I just want to settle down..know what's going on and have something I can count on...as I get ready to turn the big 4-0!!!! Eeeekkkks!
