Subject: Hey Bill...

Read your reply to my message from the other day. Speaking of one of my cats using the bathroom on the carpet....

I was sitting here a few mins ago, replying to Gem's post and I kept smelling something. I started looking around and not 2 feet from me, Pepper had struck again and covered it with a plastic bag. It was pretty fresh, she must have done it just mins before I came in the room.

Pepper is all upset right now. I took her and Toupe' to the vet yesterday for vaccines and to get the vet to sign their papers for the apt. saying they are disease free and up to date on all vaccines. They got rabies in one shoulder and a leukemia vacination in the other. They weren't happy about that ride at all. Pepper had been sleeping in the pet taxi I bought, but now she doesn't like it anymore because I took her to the vet in it. Anyway, we've taken a lot of the living and dining room furniture out and been boxing up and moving stuff out and she's all out of sorts. She keeps going in her litter box. I think she has a nervous stomach. Toupe' is upset too but he's so sweet and he never leaves deposits anywhere but the litter box. The vet gave me some sedatives to give them for our move. She said that it won't completely knock them out but it will make them really drowsy so that they'll be kind of out of it and quiet for the ride. We're not taking them down today. We'll wait until we've moved most everything else for that.

How's the job hunt? You probably won't hear from anyone until after this week. A lot of people take their vacations around the 4th. Like I said before, the whole furniture industry up here in NC closes down for the week of the 4th and a lot of people who don't even work for furniture decide to take this one off too. Keep your chin up. I'm going to pick up some papers and stuff today while I'm down there.

Love,
Sandy
