WOW some exchange going on there on main board, I think he is OK but it might be kinder to let him go, to be fair I was surprised that the HC did not close ranks on the main board.
I kind of got the impression none of you backed Ras up sufficiently (and none of you have disagreed with Ras here which was the other option), when I thnk back to the post he even passed comment on the HC saying "he was not scared of Ras even though others where" and I think he would have had to give in to a united front.
This will eventualy boil over as I know a side of Naltoc most of you do not as I am more of a silent HC member (if I still am that is)but he was fairly offhand towards me when I played and it took me about ten minutes to make him aware that if he went for me (verbaly) he would come of worse when we met up. In my view it has always been unacceptable to name call other people in your guild in particular your GM it is unacceptable and the rest of the guild read that and that will damage in the long run. My advice is to get someone from the HC close to him to layout in a polite manner what basic principles he needs to agree to for him to remain a part of MRC, if he declines we wish him well and let some other guild deal with the problem. If I was a new player and read those boards I would not be impessed, he is also constantly trying to challenge people in their own space. Keep in mind though I have never really liked the guy and most of the time when he spoke to me over the weekend it felt like I was dealing with a child who was trying to prove he was better at every step. If he had of spoken to me the way he posted at Ras I would have buried him under the Hacker tent :, sad thing is I don't think he has alot of friends outside the game, I think his heart is in the right place deep down but he lacks confidence and constantly needs to prove himself at the expense of others.
Note to HC if someone attacks your GM in general forum you should stand by him imo. If you think the is wrong discuss it on officer forum but in the meantime back each other up politley but firmly. I am pretty amazed no one pulled him up on swearing at Ras.
