Hunters is a very good class and is the one class that actually have a chance of winning most of the fights, if played right.

When attacking put down your trap so if a rogue tries to sneak up on you, he is the one ending up to be stuned.

You complained that you only have a few buttons to use in a fight, well I dont use more than that.

One of my coworkers is playing Hunter too, on a different server and he is lvl 60. He says Hunter rules in team fights and 1vs1. He have even won where he was out numbered 3v1.
It was 2 lvl 40+ and 1 lvl 60 rogue and he won the battle against them.
Last time he told me he had a fight with a lvl 60 mage, 3 times the mage came back. He won 1 of those but he said it was very close the mage had maybe 5% hp left eachtime.

So dont sell Hunter short, maybe you just need to practice and get some more levels. If the enemy got the levels you will have a hard time winning.
