I did myself look around a bit for a new forum some months ago, and I agree this is far from an optimal forum.

It is very much in style with the UO-boards we were used to in the 6I6-days, but nowadays it is simply getting old...

The forum is simply inside a frame with a link, so we can really use any forum we like on the net. I believe we could host both ASP and PHP forums ourselves too.


The only thing about it is that it all takes ressources. Our board isn't unusable, and that is the reason why we haven't changed them all this time. There has been alot of other things that we wanted to throw our development efforts at.

But if one of you guys want to do the work, then I would be more than happy to change forum. You can have the account details to our FTP and upload it yourself etc. and then throw me a link, and I will integrate it.

Just a few things though:
I want very few boards. Starting with one public, like we have now, and then one HC board, like now too.

I see many guilds create 8-12 different boards and barely any of them are being used, even when they are a large guild. I would rather want one or two boards that are truly alive.

Maybe later on it could be good to have a members board where we discuss MRC stuff that shouldn't be open to the public, like tactics etc.
