Hmm, this is a truly tough call...

If they are l33t d00ds, with a completely different mindset than ours, we may actually make already existing members leave. Awacs (who came back), left because some of the 40-50 group behaved strange (not much we can do about that, since we can't see for ourselves till they get to our level...).
And I have heard other complaints about players, that have resulted in severe unhappiness, almost causing quittings.

My point is, just a few players with the wrong mindset can poison the culture.

However, when that is said - if those guys are friends, they already have a culture. And if that culture is good, then there most likely won't be a problem with any of them.

But are they speaking english? I don't want to risk having a strong group like Samon's (they were 6 r/l friends in all), who prefer to mainly talk amongst themselves in their native tongue.

Another problem is, that they will be wielding a considerable power as a group. They can attract other MRC's to their group, and if they get unhappy with us, leave and take others with them. If suddenly 15+ players leave at once, it can have a devastating effect on the rest of our member's mentality.

When people join in smaller groups, like 1 to 4 guys, they are easier to assimilate, and they won't have as destructive an effect if they decide to leave.

It is very tempting to accept them, to improve our immediate strength, especially since we could really use it. However, it is also pretty risky.

I counted a bit on our roster today, and we have alot of 50+ guys at the moment. If we count those very close to 50 (47+), I believe we are close to 25 people. That is a significant number that can more or less participate for the high-level PvP. True, we still have only like 12 guys, who can do high-end instances, but we will very soon be much stronger.

It is really a tough call. And when I first read it, I was tempted to just say yes and go for it. But on the other hand, do we really need to take a risk like this? We are at the moment 51 unique members, and the roster is increasing daily.

Is it possible to get some more info on them? What nationality? What age approximately? What other games?
