He nuzzles them happy to have a new daughter. i> My sister was just like this as a foal. Still has a little mean streak, though she rarely ever shows it. Has a mind of her own too.She is a wonderful mare, and so will be our little beauty! He gently pushes her into the creek so she will learn that water is er friend earlier in life.
