The two-toned femme wanders up to the stallion and buries her dished visage in his silken mane, watching the other mares out of the corner of her eye. She gazes at them longingly, luminous orbs distant. Estrella notices how dominant they all were, battling for Alpha- she was quite content with Beta position and didn't often challenge unless her position was stolen from her. That fierce determination when another felt she could take advantage of the quiet pinto was one of the few similarities between Estrella and her dam, Banat. While Banat was distrustful and suspicious, arrogant and proud, her filly was friendly and trusting, playful and loving. It came from growing up under such fierce protection, the yearling mused. Estrella moves away from the stallion and approaches Banchi cautiously, her head lowered and bobbing as she walks in an unthreatening manner. She pauses a few feet from the ashen femina and snatches a bite of grass, taking another step and grazing once more. Estrella glances at Banchi- she had watched Diamond in the Rough and Exquisite and thought Banchi might be easier to befriend. For the bay pintobian was lonely... Don't get too attatched, Estrella, reminds a little voice in her head. You might be stolen away again... Estrella sighs and averts her gaze from Banchi, hoping desperately the other mare would notice her...
