She stands frozen as Mirage and Tyrannis are pushed away from the rest of the herd. Her tiny body trembles in disbelief and incredulous objection. She lifts her dial and lets out a long, sorrowful whinny to the colt. "Goodbye," she breathes. She strains her eyes to watch them disappear into the distance, and only after she can't see them any longer does she lower her head and stand, silent and lonely.
