She walks over to the red bundle in the grass and blows out her breath on his neck to get his attention. She regards him with warm dark eyes and gently touches his muzzle with her nose, making friends. After a moment of quiet companionship she raises her head and rears, kicking out with her front legs, eyes shining with mirth. Her small wispy tail flies out behind her as she plays, showing off to her new friend. She squeals happily in an invitation for him to play with her. Estrella is patient as she waits for the newborn to find his balance- she is starting to grow into her long, slender legs and remembers how difficult it was for her to move without being awkward or wobbly at first. Suddenly she sees a bright butterfly flutter past, and she is off to chase it, turning back to see if Storm would follow.
