Subject: Did Anyone happen to see the d.l. # of that truck that ran over the Stars?

(Careful... this post is VERY hockey intensive, so if you are expecting my usuall stuff, you will be disappointed)
lol, god almighty. That game didnt upset me.... It made me laugh my ass off. It was funny, I mean damn, how does ANYONE score 7 goals against the stars? Some teams dont do that in a whole series, lol. For all of my fellow stars supporters, I ask that you not jump out the window just yet. Consider that the Stars didnt win game 1 last year, or in the last series against the Lanch, or against the Lanch last year, and for those keeping score, the Stars won all 3 of those series. Also, the Stars have this somewhat annoying habit of not playing up the their potention till their backs are up against that wall.
Lose game one? Ratchet it up and win game 2... go down in a series 3-2? Ok, no problem, just dont lose for the next 2 games..... Now, that said.... The Stars came out last night lookin like a team that listened too closely when the world predicted they would beat the Devils, who came out like they wanted to show the world that they were not Finals fodder for the defending champs.
How will the Stars change things? Well, as someone who has watched them for some time now, I can tell ya, they need to not worry about Brodour's (sp) ability to play the puck, and get back to their game, dump and chase, forecheck agressively, win the battles outside the 4 dots, control the nuetral zone battles, let the person writing this post get more than 4 hours sleep the night before he writes it, and for the love of god, dont let the Devils just stand there in front of Belfour like he is the port-a-potty outside a Springsteen concert. That is a lot to correct in a very short time against a very good team. But if they dont correct these things before thursday nights game, then Joe Nieuwendyk is gonna have to find himself another jello mold this summer.
For those of you who stayed through all this crap and have read this far.... thank you, for those of you who didnt, then kiss my sweet Texas ass. Thats all for now, and for those that think i have rambled on too far, just thank your lucky stars (no pun intended) that i am not talkin about a sport that i actually know something about, lol.
