Subject: hey jpadre what has gotten into the san diego hitters

hey jp i was checking out the padre/pirates boxscore and i was blown away by how well the padres were hitting the cover off the ball i mean who would have thought that san diego would have a bunch of 300 hitters and that tony gwynn would not be among them but he will come around he is too good a hitter and if not he would make one heckuava of a hitting coach when he decides to hang up the cleats, hopefully the pitching will come around because they are much better than a 500. team at this time. well my worst fear about byung-hyun kim came true today he walked in the winning run againist the phillies. well as far as the most suprising things to start off the season in my opinion would be mike bordicks hot start, jim edmonds smooth transition to the national league, and scott scheonweis 4-0 start(i hope i spelled his name right) oh and i almost forgot jermaine dye is jacking the ball out of the yard at a breakneck pace
