Yes, I do think there is people that love to see the fights in MLB. But personally I"m tired of it. But as you said everyone is entitled to their opinions but that doesn't mean that you "ugh" everyone that they like either. I know there is TRUE McGwire fans that liked him long before he became a Cardinal. And the Reds had fans long before Griffey became a Red. So what if both teams get more fans. Two years ago McGwire and Sosa put the fun back in baseball that hadn't been there since the strike. Shannon, you get upset if anyone says anything bad about any of the players you like but you are one of the first to down someone elses favorite player whether it be McGwire or Chipper or Junior. You are always quick with your ugh's. Yes, you are a season ticket holder in St. Louis and you have seen over 400 games since you have had them but you are quick to condemn the other fans that have started coming, "they are bandwagoners". Just be glad that St. Louis is drawing a crowd. They might be able to afford some decent talent. Mac has done is job. He's hit 137 homeruns in the past two years, he did his job, it's not his fault that the Cardinal's pitching sucked. Maybe with the crowds and the amount of money they are bringing in they can afford some decent pitching. I agree that MLB used to be lots of fun. It still could be if everyone would just lighten up and AMY I get the "blue" pacifier.
