He leads the way through masses of overhanging branches and slippery undergrowth, pacing himself slowly, always looking back to make sure femme doesn't slip. As the last rays of sunlight slither over the horizon, the woods become black, but gentle whicker escapes steed's lips, announcing that he has found the thicket, the place where they shall sleep for the night. He pushes through two thickly branched trees, obsidions sinking into soft moss inside thicket. With his hindquarters, he leans against branches so femme can enter and not be touched by them. Loving orbs wait and watch for femina's moonlit outline to arrive.+
