Hey ya'll, just wanted to tell you that today was Lessons and Carols in our church. We had lots of violas, dressed in black and white, a flute player, a pianist and of coarse the conductor, out pastor. Tell me what you think about the songs we sung, out voices were all very strong too. (oh yeah, I was in the Academy Choir)

O Chief Of Cities Bethlehem
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh chief of cities Bethlehem
Of David's crown the fairest gem
But more to us than David's name
In you as man the Savior came
Beyond the sun in splendo bright
above you stands a wonderous light
proclaiming from the consious skies
that here in flesh the God head lies
The wisemen seeing him so fair
bow low before him and with prayer
their treasured eastern gifts unfold
of incense myrrh and royal gold
The golden tribute owns him king
but frankencense to God they bring
and last prophetic sign with myrrh
thay shadow forth his sepulcar
Once in Royal David City
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once in royal David City
stood a lowly cattle shed
where a mother layed her baby
in a manger for his bed
Mary was that mother mild
Jesus Christ her little child

and throguhout his wonderous childhood
he would honor and obey
love an watch the lowly maiden
in whose gentle arms he lay
Chrsitain children all shall be
mild, obidient, good as he

Jesus Christ the Apple Tree
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The tree of life my soul hath seen
laden with fruit and always green
The tree of life my sould hath seen
Laden with fruit and always green
The trees of nature fruitless be
compared with Christ the apple tree
Oh come on Come Emmanuel
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh come oh come Emmanuel
and randsom captive Israel
who mourns in heavenly excile here
until the sun of God appear
- Rejoice! Rejoice Emmanuel
Shall come to thee oh Israel

Oh come our Wisdom from on high
and oven wide out heavenly home
to us the path of knwledge show
and teach us in her ways to go
-Refrain

Oh, plus much much more! The violists were called the Bjorland Violin Orchestra (pronounced Yok-lin)
