Actually, I have a few solutions:

#1 Both of you could change your colors, like maybe Mal could have purple & green or Leash could have purple & gold, or whatever you want.
#2 I can draw lots
#3 Leash could have her colors be purple, white & gold, & Mal could have her colors be white & gold, or the other way around.If we need to, I can draw lots for that if we need to.
#4 You could both keep your colors purple, white & gold.There are many people in the world who own horses, & I'm am sure- sure!- that at least 2 people have the same colors for there horses, and/or stables.For racing, I know for a fact that some jockeys wear the same colors in a race, even if they are riding for different people, its just that there silks have different patterns.And since Leash doesn't own any racehorses, the racing factor for colors isn't exactly a problem.

Please don't yell at me for butting in, I'm just trying to help you guys solve this problem.
