 These 2 mares would have been put up at the horses for sale, but i think they would be good for your program so if you want them just post a check.

Dixie is a pretty 6 year old quarter horse mare. she is 15.1hh and a very cute chestnut with a star. She loves children and is very quiet and easy to ride. has a jog and lope you can sit to all day. This pretty mare has only one fault, she was worked very hard as a yearling and has slight navicular changes in both front hooves. Because of this, she is not suited to a show home. Her navicular is well controlled with corrective shoeing, but she is about 80-90% sound on a good day. She would be an excellant therapy horse, or beginner's lesson horse. She rides both english and western, trail rides and has done small jumps, but jumping is not advisable because of her navicular. extremely sweet and gentle, not cranky or mareish

Gypsey's Gold

Gypsey is a very cute 14.2hh palomino quarter horse mare. She is 17 years old and very healthy and sound for her age. She was a child's pleasure horse and was a champion several times over before her owners outgrew her. then she was used for beginner lessons for a few years until the barn didnt need her anymore. Her only flaws are that she has splints (which do not affect her soundness or preformance at all) and she is so cute all the kids fight over her! She is a definite favorite because of her cute face and even more loved because she is so loving to everyone. Rides mostly western, but could be ridden english too. Because she is slightly older, her teeth require special attention and she tends to be skinnier than she should in the winter. it is recomended to keep her on weight builder and soybean oil to help keep her weight up. Not mareish at all.
