It is hard to do a lot of up-dating on the 4 sale & auction pages along with helping run FC, & doing everything that a member would normally do.I know that everyone on FC who is a active member currently has at least one horse that they wouldn't sell for anything.I am the same way myself.I would never, ever sell Calypso to someone on FC for a billion dollars. The same goes for Corrado & Miss Congeniality. There are some other horses I own that I feel the same way about to.I think I have quite a few horses, & try to cut back on how many I have.like I said before, I keep horses that are special to me, training projects, big prospects, lesson horses that I have need of, some riding horses & my kids horses.I try to sell horses that I really have no need of.For me, if I see a wonderful Holsteiner stallion for sale with a ton of potential, my first instinct would be to bid on it right away. But once I started getting a lot of horses, I told myself that I'm going to be choosy about the horses I buy, & only buy them if I feel that it would be a good choice.I don't think everyone on FC works the same way.I'm not naming any names here, but I think all members of FC should think a little bit before deciding to bid on a horse.Of course, that doesn't necissarily mean everyone will do that. Now Susan & Helen both own for sale & auction businesses where people really want to see the businesses updated as often as possible.I own the ponies & lesson horses for sale & auction stores(oh, & the minis 4 sale & auction page to, but I guess that would be considered as ponies 4 sale & auction)I don't usually get as much business as Susan & Helen do.So If we decided to limit everyone so they can buy only 3 auction horses & 3 sale horses at maximun per week, its most likeley the Susan & Helen will get more business, so less horses or ponies will be bought from me.Now I'm not looking at this money-wise, I'm just telling it like it is.I think that a good solution would be for people to only be able to buy 3 sale horses & 3 auction horses from Susan & Helen's for sale & auction businesses per week. That way, Susan & Helen wouldn't have to update so much, & I would get the buyers that I need.Of course, this depends on if susan & Helen agree, but to me, it sounds like a good solution. But another thing I would like to add to this solution is that the buying 3 auction & 3 sale horses per week solution does not affect breeders. Most of the breeders on FC need to sell there foals & horses, so this rule should not affect there business.Anyway, this i just my opinion.I don't know what every1 else thinks, so every1, please post what you think about this. And also, please DO NOT just decide that you don't agree with this because you want to buy lots of horses every week, which you probably won't end up riding anyway.Oh, I just realized that I've been going on & on.So post your opinion, I, personally would like to know what all the memberon FC think. If you have any good suggestions, please pos em'!
