No one knew where she came from. One day, she just...was there. There were nasty rumours about her. Many said they should just put her in an assylum...that it would be the best for everyone. But no, Ellen, would not allow it.

Her steps were quiet, nearly inaudible. She held human form, yet she appeared as something that was very different. Indeed, as she moved silently along, her oddly serene face changed from that strangely beautiful young woman's, to a pale blue hue with eyes large and violet. Her dusted pink lips transformed to deep blood red, and her small, compact hands elongated into thin, spindly fingers ended with long crimson nails. The auburn sheets of hair that cascaded to her waist, shortened, and darkened to black. Although she was very different from the form in which she had come in, she was eerily beautiful still.

Realizing that she had shifted into her original form, she covered her mouth with her hands. Glancing around, hoping that no one had seen the transformation, she closed her eyes and whispered something. Again, she took human form, becoming that eye catching female.
