Mia sends Briar a quick nod, and says in a voice convincing that nothing has happened, “Haley, lets go to the Bakery. My birthday is just round the corner, and I need your valuable help to set it up.” But before Haley can argue to stay and jump into conclusions, Mia’s small hands grasps Haley’s wrists and skips merrily to the bakery. Dragging Haley whether she likes it or not.
