Ok, so he'd never tried this on human, sucessfully anyways, and in the back of his mind he had a fear that too much positive energy could do collosal damage, but this was as good a time as any. Unmidful of the girl's "personal space" he took his pointer and midle fingers from each hand, placing them on her temples. C'mon, c'mon, he thought desperately. It didn't have to a good job, just well enough to take her mnd off it, or even numb it. He radiated white, pulsing energy into her, faster, faster, till he yelped and let go, forehead hot with pain. That should have helped, had to have helped, because if she couldn't run they had no chance...
