Subject: Gingerly walks in...

Annie gingerly walks in, carrying a burlap sack. Mia, her assistant, travels on an ivory horse right behind her. Annie smiles to herself thinking. Ah, I’m back home! She swings the bulky rucksack to the ground and rubs her relieved shoulder.

Mia grimly looks around Kavanagh and mutters irritably to Annie, “Why do we have to come back here?”

Annie stares up to Mia, “Don’t like it here?” She sits on the fountain’s rim and observes the area.

Mia hardheartedly glares at Annie. “Like it? All I receive is loathe from everyone!” She exclaims cynically.

Annie stayed silent briefly, “Well, you should be respectful for a bit. Haven’t you learned anything from the past week?”

Mia frigidly protests, “I am kind. Just people have natural hate for me.”

Annie laughs at that, “Do you think I dislike you?” She pats Mia reassuringly. “Don’t worry, people change.” She point outs.

Mia sighs she would never understand. “Everyone knows that I have a short temper. Maybe that is why they don’t like people like that. That is why I don’t have friends!”

Annie sincerely states, “You are very friendly, just give people a chance.” She walks toward the bakery and motions Mia to follow.

“I give everyone a chance, they just refuse to take it.” Mia mumbles under her breath, while she follows Annie who is dragging the sack.
