Subject: Even when Bud was first starting out, and a little insecure, AJ was very confident in him. Like in that one ep where Bud tells AJ that he knows he still has a lot to learn and AJ says (after Bud leaves) not as much as you think? There's also that time when AJ pointed out to Bud that he came to alw late in life, but Bud is lucky to have found his calling early. I think AJ really thinks highly of Bud...as a person and as a lawyer.
In reply to: Katherine 's message, "And *I*, of course, agree with all three of you! I'm going to choke the writers if they don't stop making him look like a complete idiot! They were doing well there for a while. But the last few episodes were ridiculous. If they go w/the "maturing" Bud, I can DEFINITELY see him as a JAG. He thinks fairly logically and doesn't act on impulse." on 12:07:25 06/14/01 Thu

  • I have to admit that I think a little small bit of the bumbling Bud is kind of cute. Not a lot. For example in Lifeline. I think it would have been more than enough if he had the stain on his tie. The rest was unnecessary. He had such sweet intentions to dress up for Harriet and him losing the tie would have been enough I think. I think that Bud will always be a little awkward but recently it has been written in a rather mean way instead of the endearing way from seasons past. (NT) -- Kelly, 17:35:41 06/14/01 Thu
  • I kept wondering if Bud was going to have ANY clothes by the end of that episode! OVERKILL onthe Bumbling Bud thing, for sure! (NT) -- cj, 19:16:10 06/14/01 Thu
