Subject: Debbie does Broadway apparently as well...

As I opened my email this morning, I was surprised to see playbill online sending me information on tickets to see debbie does dallas...i thought it was some kind of excellent joke.... apparently not...so i thought i'd paste the message in here, in case anyone wants to see the lovely film, apparently filmed at Bren's school, LIVE!!!

Once upon a time in a small town, a little girl with stars in her eyes dreamed of becoming a professional cheerleader. That little girl grew up to be Debbie. Based on the American film classic, DEBBIE DOES DALLAS has arrived live on stage at the Jane Street Theatre downtown in a totally ingenious (and thoroughly respectable) production that adds contemporary music, and of course - cheers!

And now, as a Playbill On-Line subscriber, you can see DEBBIE for just $30 (a savings of up to 30%). This offer is good for performances through November 19th only, so get your tickets right away.

Presented by The Araca Group, producers of the three-time Tony Award-winning sensation "Urinetown" and this fall's acclaimed production of "Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune," DEBBIE DOES DALLAS is a timeless coming-of-age story about a group of ambitious young women who want nothing more than to help their friend Debbie get a spot on the Texas Cowgirls cheerleading squad. It is perhaps the most important theatrical event of the 21st Century. No, not perhaps. Definitely.

go see it!
