This brings into question the true "rockstar" status of a certain Mr. Bendars. Now, I believe that I am one of the very few, if not the only, one(s) who has seen his pasty white ass in action.
Last weekend, as some of you may know, Bendars and I visited "ur daddy" at PC. I had a flat tire on the way so they had left for the baaars (in his pseudo-Bostonian contrived accent). As I pulled within city limits, I got a call on my cell from Fuckface.
"Danny! You gotta help me out!" he sniveled like a little bitch. "I just got thrown out of the bar (once he's drunk he loses the accent) and I can't find Eric." I asked him where he was and how much he had had to drink. He said he was too drunk to know the answer to either of these questions.
I drove around for some time looking for the "closed CVS and the fried chicken place" at "the corner of..." all the time getting calls from this douchebag. Each time he called he would beg like Bill Clinton at a Hooters, "Danny! Danny! You gotta help me! Where are you? Where am I?" and so on.
It was really pathetic to see such a "rockstar" brought down to the level of some of the homeless people that live outside my dorm, begging for money, booze, and, at one point, sex; something I can tell you a rockstar should never have to beg for.
When I finally found him he flagged down the van and ran into the street. Barely avoiding a cab, he slithered his way into the van with a little help from my friend Liz. He then told Madeline how he wanted her to set him up to drink with the Bush girls.
Luckily I spotted TJ a few minutes later and we got into Lydia Rivera's house. While we were there I asked Nikit about how many he thought the "rockstar" had had. 10, he answered with a bit of a laugh.
Now, I'm not here solely to question Bendars' ability to imbibe. Even if he had had 20 beers, a rockstar does not make that sort of scene. A rockstar (see Tom Gunns exibit A) chases the skirts, rocks on the dancefloor and parties til dawn; he doesn't pass out on a park bench. What I'm trying to say, my friends, is that in my opinion a rockstar is only as good as his actions while ridiculously drunk.
This brings me to the point I am really trying to make, so listen up. Because none of us have witnessed Bendars and Charway (save for my one pathetic encounter) in action, they do not have any right to recognize themselves as rockstars within our community of friends. It is sort of like when the Peaceman said he should be president...it's nice that he thought he could do it, but we'd prefer to stick with a general election.
