Subject: MISS AMERICA UPDATE - DAY THREE Author: MWSO [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 09:19:57 09/10/01 Mon MISS AMERICA JOURNEY DAY THREE The ladies were up at 6 AM with 8 AM to 10 AM breakfast meeting. Then a highlight of the day with twenty children from St. Christopher's Hospital, Childrens Hospital and their families came to see the contestants and they autographed for the children A very touching moment. Philadelphia Phillies (Baseball) Mascot came and did entertainment and all the girls did the Congo with the Mascot. That was fun. Then two hour historic tour of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This was very interesting and memorable. Contestants had a private guided tour of City Hall. Then they had a one hour meeting with Miss America Chief Executive Officer, Robert M. Renneisen, Jr. Tonite Sunday night held a 6:30 PM dinner at Katmandu Restaurant in Philadelphia. Monday morning holds a very early wake-up Luggage to be at the door 6 AM with Breakfast 7 AM Philly Trolley Works 8 AM and the famous train 9:15 AM to Historic Atlantic City, New Jersey when the continued festivities happen. CONTESTANT ARRIVAL IN ATLANTIC CITY Monday, September 10, 2001.
