"Well, if there is no blacksmith, then i shall do this myself." she said, and walked over to the ruins of an old blacksmiths shop. grinning, she unfurled her massive black wings and folded them against her back until she needed them. she nodded and tossed her cloak over an old wooden table, worn with age and use. rolling her sleeves to her elbows, she smiled and drew one of her double-swords from its sheathe on her back. eyeing the imperfection on the blade, she nodded and set it on her cloak. hunting around, she found coals and a flint, as well as some discarded wood, and lit the bellows fire, fanning it to a raised heat with her wings. When it was the temperature she needed, she grabbed a pair of gloves, and pulled them over her hands, picking up a pair of discarded tongs at the same time. taking her sword by the hilt, she held it in the fire until the blade glowed a bright orange-red, and then pulled it out, exchanging the tongs for a hammer. Placing the blade on an old anvil, she started to hammer at the imperfection in her blade, never looking away or flinching from the sparks or noise. She swore the sound reached all the way to the castle.
