Seven years ago, thousands of people with a passion for Ultima and a hunger for community banded together to change the world of gaming forever. To celebrate this amazing milestone, we created a special 7th Anniversary Edition and filled it with as many goodies as we could muster. See below for a full list.

The Seven 7th Anniversary Edition Gifts
For the 7th Anniversary Edition, we’ve crafted seven rare in-game gifts to commemorate our years of adventure, friendship and community. Here are descriptions of two. Look for two more to be announced next week.
 Year One, Sept, 1997 – Sept, 1998
Royal Leggings of Embers:
When Britannia was founded, the king was attacked with a fire spell that nearly killed him. (Rumors of his demise were highly exaggerated.) Ever since, he kept a pair of Royal Leggings of Embers nearby.
Properties: Provide unusually high Fire Resistance, no Cold Resistance, and moderate levels of other resistances.
 Year Two, 1998 - 1999 – The Second Age
Rose of Trinsic:
A large rose bush, with green stem/leaves and purple roses.
In The Second Age of Britannia, the peaceful town of Trinsic was attacked by the forces of chaos. After a fierce, bloody battle, the town was overrun and destroyed. This rose commemorates the Honor of the Trinsic defenders.
Properties: Every four hours, produces a purple rose petal that when consumed adds +5 to strength for 5 minutes. Stores up to 10 petals. Owner double-clicks to obtain petals as a separate stackable inventory item.

7th Anniversary Edition F.A.Q.
Q: Why create an anniversary edition?
A: To celebrate this amazing milestone in the history of gaming, we wanted to give Ultima fans a lot of great benefits, including an extra character slot, lots of buddy registration codes, an exclusive Fan Guide and more.
Q: What else are you going to do to celebrate the UO anniversary?
A: We have lots of plans and announcements to make. You can look forward to a special promotion each and every month leading up to the September finale.
Q: When exactly is the UO Anniversary?
A: Ultima Online first shipped on Sept, 25th, 1997, and the world hasn’t been the same since.
Q: What do you mean by “The Complete Ultima Online”?
A: The 7th Anniversary Edition includes all expansion packs plus all publishes up to May 25, 2004. That means a very small patch time for those who install from this edition.
Q: Will the extra character code give you an extra character on all shards?
A: The extra character code will give you a 6th character slot on all shards except for Siege Perilous and Mugen.
Q: What are the in-game gifts?
A: You can see a list here.
Q: How do I get my in-game gift?
A: It works with the in-game promotion system like Veteran Rewards and Buddy Referral rewards. Inside the 7th Anniversary box, you’ll see a 16-digit code printed on the back of the CD jewel case. You’ll input the code into the promotion slot inside the game and you’ll get your gift. (Detailed instructions are printed on the back of the jewel case.)
Q: What do you mean “one of seven” gifts?
A: We’ve created seven gifts, each representing one year of UO. Each time you use a gift code, you’ll get one of the seven gifts. You might get the same one more than once, or you might get a different gift each time.
Q: How will the extra character slot work?
A: You’ll get a 16-digit upgrade code on the back of the jewel case. You’ll apply that code to your account and you’ll be recognized as having the 7th Anniversary Edition enabled. Once that happens, you’ll have six character slots per server instead of five, excluding Siege Perilous.
Q: Does the extra character slot apply to the Siege Perilous server?
A: No. The rules for Siege will not change.
Q: Does this version of Ultima IX include all the latest patches?
A: It does include the most recent patches, which eliminated many of the bugs it launched with.
Q: Are the Buddy Registration Codes the same kind of codes I’d buy at www.uogamecodes.com?
A: Yes. These codes can create UO accounts that will come with the first 30 days of game time free.
