The following was posted by SunSword (Live Producer), on the Stratics Uo U.Hall Board, with an update on the staff at OSI:

As promised, I have some news regarding some changes on the UO Live Team.

First, Tim "Alai" Schubert is transitioning from the Lead Client Programmer role to Associate Producer! Tim has been a core team member of the UO Live Team for years, and I'm pleased to see him step up to these new responsibilities, primarily Project Management and general whip cracking.

Moving over to the client team from the server is Peter "Fertbert" Phillips. Peter has been an amazing contributor on the server-side of things, but has also demonstrated the ability to do client development. As such, he makes the perfect relief pitcher for Alai. He's already transitioning into the new role as quickly as Tim can hand things over. I'm looking forward to our new client team's work in the coming months (if you remember, Edgar Glowacki recently joined the client team as resident 3D guru and general client wiz).

Finally, Michael "Vex" Moore is now managing the design team in the new publish process. Michael's great technical and organizational skills make him a natural choice for the role. While Vex handles the design team's work on the publishes, Tom "Evocare" Chilton is now working on more long-term plans for Ultima Online (although obviously he's still doing some work on the day-to-day stuff). Don't bother asking him about what he's working on just yet. He's not allowed to talk about it until I say so! >:)

So, there is your "head's up" on some of the changes regarding the Ultima Online Development Team. Also note, we will be posting new job positions soon, so all you artists and Unix gurus, keep your eyes peeled!

And later added:

Ignatz and Gromm are no longer with the company.
Later on an email discussion, Raph "Holocron" Koster, better known as Designer Dragon, noted that Ignatz was now with them, working on Star Wars: Galaxies.

SunSword also had this to add re Fertbert and more updates:

Fertbert will still be an active and available member to the server team but I also have some more team additions to talk about tomorrow. These new members will be contributing to the server-side of things after they finish their current project.
