At 8.30 last Sunday the much postponed Bagball Challenge between B*D and DoD finally took place at Chop's wonderful purpose-built Stadium in Felucca. Thanks to everyone who atended - and specially the regular DoD Bagball stalwarts (you know who you are ;-) FYI this is what the weekly games usually look like:

so it was a bit.. erm, different to be able to play a full team! But as you will see, all that practice paid off ;-)Thanks also go to Aineth (B*D)and Mr C. (DoD) for their very able refereeing.The Players and participants:

B*D obviously thought that lack of actual Bagball ability could be compensated by dazzling cheerleading. Hah!

or failing that, fancy tactics:

but we had a few tactics of our own ;-)

By half time it had availed them nought, DoD was well in front, scoring goal after goal...

Finally, with a change of ball, goal direction and substitution of injured team members...

...the second half commenced with B*D determined to give no quarter - well, to score at least once ;-)- only to be interrupted by the arrival of Heinrich of B*D and a mysterious yellow name.. Spector, Oceania's new Event Co-ordinator.. who lost no time in making himself at home.

The game went into extra time but the final score confirmed DoD's supremacy!

B*D are keen for revenge so more inter-guild games are planned for the future, perhaps including some larger guilds - hope to see you all there.
