Nominations are called for participation is the great TcV "The Grass Is Always Greener" Scavenger Hunt. With a first prize of 100K gold and a second prize of a Trophy, you won't want to miss out.
Called "The Grass Is Always Greener", the scavenging is themed on finding items particular to a given character class each day, so you can get an idea what trials your fellow Brittanians go through in working their professions.
The format of the hunt is as follows:-
- The hunt will begin this Sunday at 1pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, and run for 1 week.
- Each day for 7 days, a list of items for that day will be posted on the TcV message board first thing each morning. Entrants are to collect each of these items and present to me (via deposit in a locked down chest in my tower or by person presentation) prior to the completion of the competition.
- Entry to the hunt will cost 1000 gold pieces, to be paid to me prior to event commencement when you pick up your chest key.
- once you have completed collecting 1 list of items, ICQ me (130382979 – Maglorius) and I will send you a set of co-ordinates and a riddle. Solving this riddle will lead you to finding a bonus item.
- The winner will be the person who collects the most standard items. In the event of a tie, that person who has found the most bonus items will be declared the winner. If there is still a tie after this, victory will go to that person who completed the quests and bonus items in the shortest time.
- Note that some quests may have more than 1 answer – any 1 acceptable solution will be sufficient.
- You cannot use any of your existing items or resources towards items for the hunt. You can, however, enlist the help of anyone else to find them. I rely on your honesty to enforce this rule.
- The final day, from 7am Saturday until 12pm Sunday will be a madness and mayhem mystery day where anything goes. Anyone who completes the bonus tasks set on this day will receive a bonus 20K prize if they are the 1st or 2nd place getter.
- The winner will be announced at 1pm on Sunday prior to the weekly Treasure Map hunt.
- All questions and rulings will be at my discretion, and limited correspondence will be entered into. If required, Queen Caliope will have the last word in resolving any issues.
