I was banned Thursday night from UO cause of the inavertant use of the suposid Broadcast Bug
It is just west of the Minoc Moongate
Do Not go there. so far I have talked to 17 others that have been banned there. the GMs are just waiting at each one to ban anyone that shows up.
unfortunatly, despite my battles, OSI is still ignoring the facts of my case and refuse to reinstate my account for 72 hours and clear my account of the mark against it.
Here is what happened to me as I explained it to EA and UO

So I can make this easier for you to understand, here is what went on prior to GM Silvani banning me
5:25 pm MST 1/30/03
I, Frost M'erchant, was sitting at Britain Trammel Pacific Bank selling items (banksitting)
an individual was mass messageing that he had a small tower for sale at 1.3 million gps
I asked him about it and he said he can show me. I told him add me to party mode and tell me coordinates so I can look at it since I wasn't done with a sale I had going on.
at 5:30 pm MST, he told me to go west of Minoc Moongate at coordinates XXXXXXX XXXXXXX (deleted for your protection) and that is where the tower will be, this was in party mode.
So I recalled to my trinsic moongate, use it to go to minocs. I then open up Automap to punch in coordinates for to find this small tower. I then go there and wait. I told him I am waiting for him, so he can recall in to see this small tower.
as I am waiting there, then next thing I know is I am teleported to jail and GM Silvani shows up
I ask what is going on, he said I was standing there using an exploit. I told him no I wasn't, I was waiting for a friend of mine. He asked why, and I told him, he told me to meet him at the coordinates mentioned above.
then he disappears.
3 minutes later, he comes back saying your account has been blocked and you are now banned from the game. I then get kicked out.
I get back in game with my other character on the same account. I help menu msg for another GM to explain to me what happened.
I get messaged after 30 minutes of waiting that I will be emailed shortly and then my account was kicked again. then i tried to get back on only to be banned once again
I tried calling Account admin and Billing to get this fixed.
I got 20 emails from the website on ask a question, which I have done 4 times, this making 5. and all I get is a mass-email with the same story, go to ask a question.
I am tired of the run around. I just got finish leaving a message with EA Headquarters for Acount Admin. If that doesn't work or I can not get a LIVE person to call me, I will go back to EA, talk to either the chairman or pres of the company to get this cleared up.

I have no marks against me
I have always paid my bills on time and have always been an honest player. I got accused for something I did not do.
and the rule violation he sent, which I am going to repeat is clearly showing I did not break the rules at all.

I was standing there doing nothing. I was not trying to kill a monster. I was not trying to build my skills. I was not harvesting gold. I was standing there waiting for someone else to buy an in game home from.
I was not telling others of a bug. I was not communicating the exploits I was accused of, which by the way, the GM has yet to tell me or email me what exploit I was using.
I have talked to everyone I play the game with and they, like me, are highly irrate at this GM now and for his lack of investigation into seeing if I am actually using a bug.
I was given no warning of a bug use in the area and that I might have stumbled accross a bug. I was jailed and kicked out of game PERIOD!
so again, I would like a LIVE response to this and not another plz visit website email. that does not help.

After 48 hours now, I have recieved the same responses of go ask admin a question, which they refuse to answer. EA refuses to call me. And I still can not get into game to talk to a GM. I am upset from this and almost ready to auction both my accounts to ebay.
if anyone else has been banned, call EA at 650-628-1500 and voice your opinion.
if you see someone in town selling any type of home, do not check it out. tell them to give you the coordinates and check automap. if it is near Minoc Moongate DO NOT GO
I have also told others to call EA including my long time friends of UO and my nearly1500+ contacts on ICQ of customers of mine.
