It was horrible i tells ya, i entered this place called doom, it was early in the day and i was full of spirit(ale) and was ready to take on the world. As soon as i stepped through the opening i was assailed immedielty by the multitude of peoples ghosts and animal spectres hovering their all OOOooOOOOOooooOoOOoO ing their cries of help. I stopped immediatly, layed down my arms and took up my med kit and begun to bring those pour souls back in this world.
I was able to return their lives to them and protect them as they returned to their former shells and reteive their belongings. With gratitude being heaped upon me my chest filled with pride. One person offered me a monotary amount in thanks for my deed, but with a gentle smile i declined, saying " thine thxs is all i required, fare thee well noble traveller".
With my head held high i moved further into this strange place, the further i got the more resistance i encounted.
I vanquished all that came before me until i came across the Devourer of souls. I froze momentarily as it stood staring at me, i shook all over before my battle senses kicked in and ishut my visor and charged the foul beast with my lance lowered.
I hit it once, not much damage was done to it, it reached out one hand and grazed my armour lightly it seemed, but the paim oh my god the pain, i could feel the life being pulled out of me, i was damaged serverly and it had only touched me once!!!!!. i urged my frightened horse around and dediced to "tactically retreat" as i turned it touched me again i screamed again and in my haste to get away accidently dismounted, my mount sensing my peril turned back to attack the beast but in one touch my horse was killed, the sound of the terrored scream of the horse i can still hear it , why wont it stop?????????.
I managed to crawl away applying bandaids as i went, i turned back once to see my mount lying there and i ran for my life.
The additional speed of my mount hurt me deeply, i was now at the mercy of every foul creature in here. I ran & ran untill i reached the place where i entered and to my horror i couuldnt get back out that way.. I felt panic begin to rise as a saw the devourer was still following me.
I tensed myself and ran straight past him enduring more damage as i passed,, i kept running until i could no longer see him, ive taken so many turns now im utterly lost, i can hear strange noises echoing off of the walls and as i write this down my last torch is starting to flicker, whoever finds this please tell my family that i love them and i wish that........................
