First Hunt

I sat at the bank eagerly awaiting the arrivals of the exalted memebers of Defenders of Darkstone, i passed me time sorting through my numerous "junk" items.

A blue portal opend before me, i sat still on my swampy as a strange calm settled over me. Synergy came through first announcing "this is the one we were looking for". The area wen t deathly quiet as nothing stirred, not a soud was uttered. I looked around and then dismounted and moved forward then bowed in reverence. That unleasehed a wave of jousting and playing amongst the other memebers with Synergy.

This went on for alittle while until Synergy flexed her muscles and called them into line.

We then went on to the famous DoD tavern where iw as shown the little village there. After a few minutes we gathered ourselves together and headed off to find buried treasure fame fortune and maybe if we were lucky a few more grey robes to add to the collection.

We emerged in a wooded area, as one does on one of these treasure hunts. The members of DoD spread out in what seemed a well practised move,i just placed myself into what i thought was a gap and awaited the arrival of the monsters who protected the treasure.

The wait wasnt long, monsters spewed forth as we ransacked their loot, sounds of metal bitting into flesh started to echo the area and the smell of spells being unleashed filled the air, with the haunting sounds of my lute playing in the back ground.

Despite our best efforts and an attack form the most powerful monster (lag monster), we were unable to save one of our group , who sadly perished in the battle.

We finished off the remaining monsters and stood quietly in remeberance of our fallen comrade. Then to my surprise Syrnergy delved in to the fobddien arts of reserection and brought our comrade back into the land of living. We rejoiced in this and our hearts and spirits were lifted as re realised as long as one of us was standing we would be victorious!!!!!!!!!!!!

We fought some smaller battles as we looted the rest of the monsters lair, then we headed back to the tavern to collect to gether the loot.

WE sat for a little while makign small talk until the desire for rest over took us and we all sought out our respective homes foe a well earned rest.

*the events portrayed here might not necessarily happened and we were/could have been exagerated for artitisic pupropses *
