i have also done that (explored when ded)

it seems that walking across doesnt work either (the tightrope)

when i explored
i was under the opinon if u ran a lil bit, like as far as u had to, to be able to see other side
then tel'd over there was the shot, but we will see

i'd also advise bringing a couple of runes, so if someone does make it, they can mark....

btw im in!! :D
