As happens every so often, another e-mail scam has begun circulating the Internet, attempting to convince players to willingly send out their Ultima Online usernames and passwords. If you ever receive any sort of e-mail that asks you to send in your UO password, do not respond—don’t give out your username, and never, ever give anyone your password. We will never ask for passwords!
On a related note, some of our official mailings have been mistakenly thought to be spam by some of our players, since they come from ultimaonline-com.m0.net and not directly from a uo.com address. These e-mails are from us, albeit distributed by the good people at Digital Impact. When you click on a link in these e-mails you are routed through an m0.net tracking URL before settling on a page within the UO.com site, and that’s okay—their system helps us track your interests, and that information helps us continue improving the Ultima Online service. And, of course, none of these official e-mails will ever ask for your password.
Unfortunately, there will also always be unscrupulous people who know all the technical tricks on how to convince you that they are our representatives when they are not, so we can’t say this enough: You can best help protect yourself by not giving out your password, even if you feel absolutely positive the person who is asking for it works for OSI or an affiliate. The best way to keep your password safe is to never sharing it with anyone, ever.

Can you put a lot of time testing in the new Age of Shadows?
Have you ever used any bugs?
If you call the GM's why do you report?
What do you want your Account User name to be?
What do you want your Account User password to be?
How old is the current Account you are playing?
What character type do you spend your most time on?
That will be all the questions for now. Please fill these out, than send the
email back to us. With every question filled. And than we will check into it
and create your account. We will than send you the Beta CD in the mail.
