i dont know if they do more damage to mares or not, maybe it was just that my mare stood in the pool for a little while. it took about 150-200 damage from the poor thing and i figured if it can do that to a mare in such a short time then its not gonna be pretty when dealing whith a player. Since then I've killed a few ant warriors with my mare, and with a warrior char, and i know now that they arent that hard if you dont stand still in the acid. But I've also had to res 2 warriors (in one hour) because of that acid. So in response to you question, i doubt they do more damage to mares, except that a mare wont move from the acid unless you tell it to and would happily sit and fry :)

Oh, and as for tamers...I've dealt with my fair share of rude and careless tamers in my time, i guess since i've only been a tamer for a short while (compared to my total game time) it kind of gives me the perspective of other players in relation to tamers. I tend not to like 'em either, but mostly coz they deserve it :)
