It was the end of a long night out for Archie and he had just recalled home to try and beat the sun up when he saw a familiar sight, briglands at the door. That's ok for he has dealt with them many a time but this time he was in trouble for the moment between recalling in and thinking about arming a weapon the computer locked up and I had no option but to hit the reset button. Now I know that this means I am going to be dead when I get back and so it was.

Now I use a locked chest on 3 of my characters so as nobody can snoop inside them in Fel and look for power scrolls and everything is in the chest, only thing in my backpack apart from the chest is my rune books. So Archie runs down the road to be res'd and runs back to find only armour in corpse and instantly knew the brigland that killed him had looted his chest containing everything but the kitchen sink, this chest normally has 90 items and weighs close to 300 stone.

I found only one red still there when I ran back but it was a dead red, I knew I didn't kill it and ran over to it and it was a fresh kill as I couldn't look inside and loot yet. I ran round trying to find signs of anyone or another red but nothing insight but a few cross bolts lying on the roadside. By now I run back to the dead red and looked inside and surely enough I found nothing, someone had looted the gold and obviously my chest as well and high tailed it outta there.

I ran inside and grabbed another bow and back up supplies and ran around thinking who ever had looted this chest might be struggling to walk around with it but alas I found nobody at all. I then found a Solem Warrior Ant close by and led it towards my house to kill it when meters from my door I lost connection. This wasn't getting any better until I realised the server had just gone down for daily maintenance and I suddenly found myself checking times and calculating on all fingers and toes how long ago I crashed, and thought to myself hmm 18-20 mins ago was last save I may be still alive.

I waited till Oceania was back on the server list and in I go. I was dead as but this time the red was still alive and standing over my corpse. I run and get res'd then run back and get my bow and take him out. I thought to myself, naw I lost a chest I am just replaying the obvious over again when to my surprise I opened his bag and there's my chest sitting there smiling at me.

And the poor soul who looted me tis a shame but you don't have my chest any more. I slept well that morning.
