Subject: An evil is among us... it could be closer than you think ** Long** Author: Dr Harry [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Mon, May 06 2002, 01:24pm ..the night was getting late and I was about to head home for a well earned rest when I hear that familiar sound of someone recalling in the area. It was my guildmate Ch’Tak, who had news of the Juka horde at Minoc. I was intrigued to hear that he saw some people becoming violent when touched by one of those evil Juggernaughts. I needed to see this first hand and asked Ch’Tak to show me what he had found.. ..upon arrival at Minoc there were slain bodies of juka and lots of dead adventurers seeking glory by defending their town. It didn’t take long for us to find the evil juggernaught, he was rallying up his Juka allies to attack a band of head strong warriors that have come apon them.. Two of the warriors ignored warnings of their friends and tried to attack the Juggernaught. This is when I noticed a strange purple hue envelop them, as the Juggernaught chanted a strange word, in a unique tongue. As the hue faded we saw that the eyes of the two warriors had changed to black ovals without pupils. They then turned on their guildmates without a thought and the juggernaught and the juka seemed to no longer see the two warriors as enemies. What was going on here? With our attention on these strange discoveries, we seemed to be unaware of the juggernaught getting ever so close to us. Suddenly I heard that strange word muttered again, and felt a strange tingle over my skin. “I will serve thee, till the end my Lord!” chanted Ch’Tak, “Corp Por” and throws an e-bolt directly at a warrior who was unaware of what was happening.. .. as I ran to fight by Ch’Taks side I can only hope that the Lord Blackthorne will allow us to serve him eternally. My Juka brothers have taken me in and are showing me the secrets of Juka. If I kill enough people within my guild I have been told by the council of Juka Lords that Lord Blackthorne will accept me as one of his council.
