Subject: Hear Ye !! Darkstone now has a Keep!!! Author: Darkstone News [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Mon, Jul 15 2002, 10:36pm Late on Saturday eve, Thomus came to me with news of a Keep for sale near Darkstone. He asked me to meet him at the Tavern & he lead me all of 3 steps, stopped & said "Here" & motioned to the s/e. I was dumbstruck. This is the Keep that gave Darkstone its name, for Darkstone Alley was named so because it was in the shadows of the Darkstone Keeps. I took a deep breath & we proceeded to the front door of the Keep. Thomus told me of how he had seen the owner calling out at West Brit Bank about a Keep for sale near the Brit X-Roads. Thomus had made further enquiries & passed the sellers details on to me. Thomus suggested that this Keep would be valuable as Guild real estate & that Ka Null should reside there. I could do nothing but agree with him. Thomus tells me of the price. *gasp* "We haven't got that sort of money!!! I reply to Thomus after catching my breath. The Kitty is healthy, but sheesh, a long, long way short of that princely sum!!" On Sunday morning, it was decided to try to raise the gp's needed to secure the Keep for Darkstone. The call was put out to our faithful members. By that eve,through the unselfish generosity of the members of DoD the gp's were raised.... & the keep was handed over to our Lord Ka Null !! No more living in the shadow of the keep. T'was a grand day in Darkstones History Here is the location of the New Darkstone Keep.
