The Essence of Darkstone...

Sounds like a perfume doesn�t it?

Well, even though it is as sweet as the finest scent, the Essence of Darkstone is not a perfume.

It is hard to explain in mere words. Darkstone�s Essence is something that you can feel rather than describe. It is the way we interact with each other; the way in which we care for each other�s pixelated butts; the way we put others ahead of ourselves.

This past week, I have seen members of DoD perform extraordinary, selfless acts of kindness. In a realm where greed is very prevalent, these people�s actions have reminded me of the special camaraderie that has formed amongst the members of DoD.

Young Harry Potter proudly sporting a runic broadsword from XerYus (Astro/Vain) & a slightly more senior Trentham Lorne striking a pose with his shiny, new golden runic axe from Lady Shar Shi�nayne. (otherwise known as DryderX). In the background is a +15 vet scroll for Grizzly from Smap.

I have heard of & been witness to other heart-warming events�powerscrolls & enchanted musical instruments changing hands hither & yonder.

I have seen Solarus� joy when he finally broke his cartography drought with tattered maps that others have let his trembling hands decode

& how Solarus rallied to the call to help Zonberg with a housing situation, which in turn Smap offered a helping hand to Solarus to make things right again.

I saw Ka Null break into a toothy grin when he got his archery scroll

& bags of gold, weaps & t-maps stashed, awaiting a packy to freight it home to the tavern, to top up the Keep Kitty on our regular weekly hunts.

And lets not forget the mere feat of the teamwork in acquiring the Darkstone Keep !!!
(not to mention the teamwork in paying back all the generous benefactors)

I just wanted to post this to remind you all what a special bunch of ppl we have in DoD.

Each & every one of you is the Essence of Darkstone
